Car Seat Tip Tuesday - Overseas Seats Are not Legal in Australia

We’ve had a few people come into the fitting station lately in a real pickle. When visiting Australia from overseas or relocating here, don’t bother bringing your car seat with you. Even the best international seats cannot be used in Australia - they MUST have the Australian standards AS/NZS1754 sticker on them. Aussie standards are strict and it’s obvious to police what many foreign seats look like. It's likely thatthey will book you AND require you to sort out a legal seat immediately.
