Car Seat Tip Tuesday - How Long Can My Baby Sleep in a Capsule?

How long can my baby sleep in a capsule?
We all know the convenience of being out and about and not having to wake a sleeping baby in a car capsule. However, it is increasingly deemed unsafe for a baby to stay in their capsules for long periods of time due to a strain on their spine as well as potential breathing issues, particularly if their head is flopped forward. There’s no hard and fast rule here, but typically we wouldn’t recommend your baby to be in their capsule for more than 1 hour at a time. Use the capsule for transporting only as much as possible, keeping in mind a firm, flat mattress is the safest place for a sleeping baby.
