Hire Services
At Baby Things we have everything a baby needs available for hire - car seats, baby capsules, prams, cots, change tables and more.
All car seat hire fees include the fitting cost. Short and long-term hire is available.

Note that deliveries for hire items are not available under the Metro Delivery fee. If delivery is required please contact us before placing the order.
Brands included in our hire stock are Britax Safe N Sound, Infasecure, Maxi Cosi, Babylove, Phil & Teds, Edwards & Co and many more.
Please ensure you read and understand the Hire Terms of Service, by using the service you agree to be bound by the terms. When payment is made you agree to these terms of hire.
During our peak times: 1st November - 28th February
The full payment of the hire fee is required to secure a reservation. A refundable bond is required before the hire is finalised either at pick up or before delivery.
Conditions for cancellations during peak times:
- 7 days or more - 100% refund of hire fee
- 48hr - 7 days - 50% refund of hire fee
- less than 48hrs - no refund of hire fee

If there are variant options for a hire item the terms are as follows. If no variants are available then the hire item vary in how long they have been in use for hire and rates are as quoted.
Premium Hire Service
All car seats, capsules and other hire items in this range are less than 2 years old (the restraint, not the child).
Standard Hire Service
Car seats available for hire as part of our standard range have been in use in our hire stock for 2 - 4 years.
Basic Hire Service
Car seats, capsules and other hire stock available for hire as part of our basic range have been in use in our hire stock for 5 - 8 years.
Note regarding Boosters: All of our boosters are hired under the Basic Hire Service and vary in how long they have been in use for hire.
