Shipping policy
Baby Things ships only within Australia, we will not ship overseas.
All orders are dispatched during business days through our store in Zetland, NSW on the day after you place your order.
Once you place an order, Baby Things will send you a confirmation email and a tracking number (where eligible).
Orders are only dispatched after full payment is made.
Baby Things uses three main shipping methods:
- Metro area shipping
- Rural area shipping
- Car Seat Shipping to Metro* Areas
Please choose the correct shipping method at checkout.
Cost of Shipping:
The cost of shipping will be calculated and displayed on checkout.
Items we do not ship:
*Car Seats to Rural Areas - please note that currently we do not ship Car Seats to Rural areas due to the very high cost and turnaround time in freight. Baby Things will make exceptions if you absolutely have no other options and are willing to pay the high fee of shipping and accept the wait time. Please use the contact us link on our website to discuss options.
Furniture outside of Sydney Metro - we do not ship furniture outside of the Sydney Metro area, this includes furniture hire.
Delivery Times (how fast will your order arrive?):
Delivery times can be dependent on the time and day that you order and your distance from Zetland, NSW.
- For Metro areas, delivery is usually 2-5 working days
- Rural areas, delivery is usually 2-7 working days
- Car seat shipping is usually 2-5 working days
Fraud Prevention:
Due to increase in fraud, any orders above $200* placed using a credit card will require a written and/or verbal confirmation from you before the item is shipped. If no response is received by Baby Things within 3 working days then the cost will be refunded and the order cancelled.
*Please note that if your order is below $200 but our systems flag your order as possible fraud, we will still seek written and verbal confirmation from you.
Orders placed through PayPal will not require a written and verbal confirmation.
Areas we do not ship to:
We’re sorry but Baby Things will not ship to Northern Territory, any small islands off the mainland of Australia or Lord Howe Island or remote Islands & Locations with Postcodes: 6798-6799, 2898-2899, 7151-7154.
Free Pickup from our Zetland Store is available:
You can pick up your order for free from our Zetland Store. Pickup times are all days, excluding NSW and National Public Holidays:
- Mon-Fri 10:00am - 4pm
- Saturday - Sunday 10:00am - 3:00pm
My Order Hasn’t Arrived:
If your order is taking longer than expected, please check the tracking information sent to you via your order confirmation, otherwise, please feel free to contact us via the information shown on the confirmation email or via the contact us link on our website.
Can I opt to leave my items unattended?
Sorry but currently we do not allow the option to leave your items unattended.
