Forward Facing Car Seat

Forward facing car seats allowing from 6 months to 8 years by Australian law.

Baby Things highly recommends that children remain in a rearward facing car seat for as long as possible. Rearward facing car seats have the highest chance of survival in a crash for young children. Consider that at 6 months, a child's head makes up a lot of its body weight and that their neck has not yet fully developed. Placing a child in a forward facing car seat too soon can result in catastrophic injury for young children.

Have your seat fitted by our expert team of fitters for discounted fee of $35 for a car seat (normally $50) *. Fittings can be done 7 days a week - no booking necessary. Our fitters will even demonstrate with you how to use your new seat to ensure that you drive away confident that your child will be safe during your car trips.

* Only applies to the initial/first fitting of seats purchased at our Baby Things shop or online store.
